Good morning Neil, good morning everybody. Lovely sunny morning here and sun forecast for the whole day. Our temperature hit the mid twenties yesterday which was a lovely change! Hubby has some work to do on his shed and I shall be pottering in the garden, cutting down some bushes. I may spend a bit of time on the WiiFit too at some point. The diet is going quite well, but the exercise always lags behind for some reason.  I didn't win anything on the Premium Bonds again so won't be jetting off to the Bahamas today. I may go away later this month though with a bit of luck. I am hoping to go to Portugal. Have a nice day everybody. |

Good Day all  We have been very busy with the house stuff then taking Keira to swimming lessons, which she loves and is VERY good at. It has been a joyful afternoon with her, full of fun and glorious sunshine. |

Torrential rain on the way home from choir practice and still at it.
Sang carols and Christmas pieces tonight in practice for our winter concerts and I really feel summer has gone now and we are into winter!

Dark, rainy and thundery here. We had torrential rain yesterday evening and practically all night again. The reservoirs should surely be full by now.

Well about a week later from the last entry. Went early to the beach this morning while we
could still get parked. Very crowded by the time we left around 1230. Babs went swimming
but yours truly bottled it. Wished I had when we left but had a lovely cool shower on getting
home. next Friday maybe.

We had 3 lovely sunny warm days in Derbyshire, and came home to hear that it had been raining in Lincs for the entire time we were away!!! We were very lucky.
Meanwhile my bedroom has been done and looks superb! The hall stairs and landing are almost finished, and look bright and welcoming, and the new kitchen is marvelous!!! Have spent the last 3 hours putting stuff back in the kitchen, hanging curtains and so on....a transformation indeed!

Yes it was lovely to be away for most of it, although Dens and her daughter come back tomorrow morning to finish hall stairs and landing, so more disruption but it can't be helped really. Not done yet because new shower cubicle has to go in, the other was corroded.  That will be next week sometimes, meanwhile the diary is filling up for the week ahead and I thought we would have a quieter time!!! Never mind it all keep sus active  |
